EinzelTicket (single trip)
Quick and easy from A to B.
Do you only travel by bus and train occasionally? Then the best way to travel is with a one-way ticket. Children aged 6 to 14 pay half price, children under 6 pay nothing. But older people can also save money: You get a 3% discount when you buy tickets via the VRS app.

One-way tickets have a limited period of validity. As soon as the ticket is validated, it is valid as follows, depending on the price level:
20 minutes for short-distance travel,
90 minutes in price level 1,
120 minutes in price level 2,
180 minutes in price levels 3 and 4,
360 minutes in price levels 5, 6 and 7.
At the end of these times, the journey must be completed. (Exception: timetable or operational reasons, e.g. longer transfer times, delays, etc.).

The one-way ticket is valid for one journey within the selected price level. Within the period of validity, you can interrupt your journey as often as you like and change trains - only return journeys and round trips are not possible.

Children up to the age of 5 travel free of charge on buses and trains. Children who do not yet attend school also always travel free of charge, even if they are already 6 years old. Children between the ages of 6 and 14 travel with discounted single and 4-person tickets at the children's rate.
You can take your dog with you free of charge on the VRS. Please make sure that a dog is always accompanied by a suitable person - and, depending on the breed, wears a muzzle. The seats are reserved for people. All animals must adhere to this.
To take a bicycle with you on a one-way ticket, you need a bicycle ticket. It costs the same for every journey within the VRS network - no matter how far you travel.
