The easiest way to board buses an trains.
You can access the HandyTicket with the VRS app: here you can quickly and easily find the right connection, buy the right ticket - and even save money.
The VRS app can do more:
- Plan your route from address to address.
- Get directions to the nearest bus stop.
- Find car sharing cars and hire bikes in your neighbourhood.
A customer account is worthwhile.
You don't necessarily need a customer account to buy tickets via the VRS app. However, if you create one, all purchased mobile phone tickets will be saved. You can then retrieve the tickets at any time (e.g. for billing your employer or for your tax return).
This way you can pay for your HandyTicket, regardless of whether you have a customer account or not:
- PayPal
- AmazonPay
- Credit card (Visa, Mastercard or AmericanExpress)
Frequently asked questions about the HandyTicket

All HandyTickets are approx. 3 % cheaper than when purchased at ticket machines or other points of sale.

With your registered mobile phone, you can buy up to five HandyTickets in total for passengers or for a bicycle.
The following restrictions currently apply to the purchase of multiple HandyTickets:
- You must be registered as a HandyTicket customer.
- Multiple purchases are currently not possible with a credit card.
- All tickets must be presented at a ticket inspection.

Buy your HandyTicket shortly before you start your journey. The HandyTickets have a limited validity and are valid immediately upon receipt.
